Summer Beginning Band Camp

We are excited for this summer’s Beginning Band Camp for incoming 3-6th grade students who want to give band a try! This is an awesome opportunity for our beginning students to spend eight days getting to know each other and our directors, Dr and Mrs Knechtel, learning to play their instruments, with a concert for parents on the last day!
The daily schedule will include small group lessons, music and rhythm games, and large group rehearsals. There will be lots of time to figure out how to put their instruments together, get a good sound, read the music, find the first five notes, and play together as a band!
DATES: Tuesday-Friday for two weeks (August 1-4 and 8-11)
TIME: 8:00-11:00 a.m.
FINAL CONCERT: Friday, August 11 @ 11:00 a.m.
LOCATION: Linfield Christian School HS Band Room
COST: $160.00 for 8 days
INSTRUMENTS OFFERED: Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone (needed by the first day of camp – please email for rental info)
